As a case handler, you’ll be supporting employees when they are facing the prospect of losing their job. As this will be a challenging time in their career, your aim will be to make the process as seamless as possible. You’ll also need to ensure that each employee is treated fairly and reasonably by their employer. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as a critical eye for detail. Our client is looking for an empathetic individual to join their rapidly growing company. They are a team dedicated to making the settlement agreement process as simple as possible for employees, whilst ensuring that all interests are protected.
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Providing an excellent customer experience for everyone who contacts the business
  • Working with people during a difficult time in their life, becoming a named settlement agreement specialist and case manager for individual clients
  • Providing specialist employment advice and guidance, under the supervision of expert employment solicitors
  • Ensuring that all processes run smoothly, in line with strict timetables
  • Liaising with your client’s employer to negotiate any drafting changes that are required to their settlement agreement
  • Working within a fast growth start-up, helping the business to become a major player within the industry
  • Working closely with your team and the advising solicitor to achieve the best possible outcome every time

What We're Looking For

  • Someone with a critical eye for detail and the ability to learn quickly, adapting to new ways of working
  • An individual who is receptive to feedback and takes ownership of any problems that may arise
  • Previous experience working in a regulated environment or as a paralegal would be an advantage
  • Someone with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An individual who has a lot of empathy and the ability to support employees facing the loss of their employment
  • The ideal candidate will be excited to join a fast moving company, and wish to help with future growth, such as the hiring and training of new colleagues
