As an Account Manager, you’d be bringing new affiliates into the business, developing and maintaining relationships with a large number of clients based in the United States. You would use a number of different platforms to network and find new leads, from social channels to remote conferences. In addition to this, you’d be responsible for reviewing campaign analytics, then optimizing campaigns to increase sales opportunities and revenue.
The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal communication skills, and previous telephone experience would be an advantage. Our client is a lead management platform that operates in the short-term loan market, generating leads for brokers, marketers, and affiliates. They are looking for an experienced and driven individual, quick to show initiative, to join their growing team. What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Generating new business in US territory and building up your own accounts
  • Bringing in new direct lenders and affiliates
  • Making outbound calls to identify and develop relationships with prospective clients
  • Using LinkedIn, email, and other online platforms to network with interested parties
  • Going out to see prospective customers at various locations
  • Attending conferences to generate new business
  • Using analytics tools and regularly reviewing customer accounts to find opportunities for improvement
  • Providing an outstanding service across the board, in order to grow commercial relationships

What We're Looking For

  • At least two years experience in a similar role - you will require knowledge on how the lead generation industry works with different verticals and traffic setups, as well as knowledge of using data sets to optimize campaigns
  • A background in short-term lending or the financial industry preferred
  • A highly organised, confident individual with experience in project management, able to manage your own time effectively
  • An individual who is looking to help the business grow, and progress alongside the company
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects and demands
  • Someone who is self-motivated, quick thinking and keen to show initiative
  • The ideal candidate will be proficient in Microsoft applications and be generally tech savvy - you will need to get to grips with a range of software solutions
  • A team player, who will communicate with colleagues and delegate where necessary
  • Previous experience within a proactive, telephone-based role preferred
  • Someone with a thorough knowledge of written English, spelling and grammar
  • An individual who is able to problem solve and think creatively
