As a lettings assistant, you’ll be ensuring a high level of service is provided across the board, working as an integral part of the Partner Success team. You will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to Franchise Partners with all letting and tenant related matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in a Property and Lettings role, and will be a highly driven individual. What You’ll Be Doing
  • Assisting with communications across the network, ensuring a first-class customer experience
  • Supporting with the creation, preparation and delivery of high quality and legally compliant information to partners 
  • Assisting in the development and overhaul of a tenancy management document library and e-learning modules
  • Supporting partners with creating engaging adverts and effective marketing strategies to ensure occupancy rates remain high, as well as helping with initial queries and frequently asked questions. This may include some out of hours responses when an urgent response is necessary
  • Keeping up to date with any changes to guidance and ensuring the online Lettings FAQ section remains accurate and up to date
  • Ensuring the service provided to Franchise Partners conforms to relevant legal requirements and best practice
  • Contributing to the creation and enhancement of policies, procedures and documentation relating to lettings, tenant management and to a lesser extent property management
  • Supporting the Lettings Advisor in the delivery and content of training, including but not limited to the Foundation Lettings Course and e-learning modules.
  • Supporting the creation of press releases, updates and intranet stories 
  • Ensuring relevant stakeholders are fully updated with all lettings legislation changes, implementing internal training if and when necessary 
  • Providing administrative support to the Lettings Advisor as required

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a Property and Lettings role essential, having gained an understanding of residential lettings and tenancy processes
  • Level 2 Residential Lettings and Property Management qualification or equivalent desired but not required
  • Someone with excellent verbal communication skills, confident in networking with diverse groups of people
  • The ideal candidate will have the ability to write interesting and engaging copy
  • Someone with a proven track record of an exceptional customer centric approach
  • An individual with a good level of computer literacy, fully conversant with Microsoft Office and the ability to easily pick up new databases and systems. Experience using Arthur (property management system) also desirable
  • An organised and proactive individual with a creative approach to problem solving
  • An understanding of SpareRoom and related marketing strategies, as well as legal requirements for landlords, would be an advantage 
  • Someone with a growth mindset, always exploring opportunities for innovation
