As a business development manager, you’ll be responsible for generating as well as converting leads. You’ll be helping clients achieve breakthrough results for their brands using Paid Ads, working with a range of clients, from start-ups to national brands. Previous experience in a similar role is essential, preferably within a business development environment. Our client is looking for a driven individual with a creative approach to problem-solving.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Generating your own leads through a variety of mediums, from cold outreach to networking
  • Taking both introductory calls, speaking with warm, qualified, inbound leads, as well as demo calls to showcase the service and bringing on new clients
  • Responding to new leads via phone, email, and social media
  • Building strong relationships with clients, then ensuring a smooth transition process to the Client Delivery Team for onboarding
  • Working towards agreed weekly KPI’s and monthly sales targets
  • Recognising opportunities, such as cross-selling additional services to existing clients where appropriate
  • Providing ongoing feedback in regards to lead quality to the Marketing Team
  • Performing miscellaneous tasks relating to client sales, as needed  

What We're Looking For

  • At least a year's previous experience working in sales or recruitment is a must. Experience in  business development would be an advantage, particularly in an agency environment
  • An understanding of digital marketing, especially Facebook advertising would be beneficial
  • The candidate will need to be driven, pushing to improve themselves, but resilient in terms of setbacks
  • Someone with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • An individual with outstanding time management and organisational skills
  • A team player, able to collaborate with a small team and ask for help when needed
  • A proactive individual with a proven track record
