As a marketing manager, you’ll be responsible for the planning and implementation of the overall marketing strategy of the business. From content creation to managing social media accounts, you’ll become the voice of the brand as they drive the next phase of growth. Previous experience in a similar role is essential, preferably within a tech or SaaS company. Our client is looking for a confident individual with a creative approach to problem-solving. The ideal candidate will also have experience using a variety of marketing tools and platforms.
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Creating engaging content for various channels and regularly reviewing this content, updating it when necessary
  • Engaging with the company’s audience via social media, responding to communications and increasing follower count
  • Learning more about the business's customer base, such as their preferred channels of communication and tone of voice, as well as staying up to date with the latest marketing technologies and social media platforms
  • Shaping the company’s brand guidelines, defining the voice and ensuring consistency
  • Focusing on an exceptional customer journey, while ensuring all campaigns adhere to brand guidelines
  • Providing campaign performance reports, using these to guide your ongoing strategies and reporting the results back to key stakeholders
  • Working as part of a team to deliver a high level of service across the business, contributing ideas to increase efficiency and growth
  • Meeting potential customers online and in person. You will need to organise frequent webinars and attend relevant trade shows and events
  • Regularly undertaking in-depth data analytics and reporting, including customer case studies  

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working in marketing is essential, preferably in a tech or SaaS company. Experience in education or Edtech would be particularly useful
  • The candidate will need to be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check and while they won‘t work directly with children they’ll need to be able to go into schools
  • An outstanding copywriter with an editorial mindset, including the ability to predict audience preferences
  • A keen researcher, particularly adept at digging into customer pain points, and using those insights to build compelling, exciting content
  • Someone with a strong design aptitude, working with others to create engaging designs
  • In-depth knowledge of analytical marketing tools, able to recommend the right toolset
  • Experience with CMS platforms like Prismic preferred, as well as a comprehensive knowledge of social media channels, such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram
  • An excellent project manager, who can work to multiple deadlines
  • An individual who is confident in their decision-making abilities and creative in their thinking
