As a collections adviser, you’ll be working closely with customers who are struggling with their finances, offering help and support. You’ll work with them to find a suitable resolution, managing their account appropriately. The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal communication skills, and an enthusiasm for helping customers. Our client is looking for a passionate and driven individual to join their close knit team. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
  • Liaising with clients over the phone to find the best solution for them, taking into account their financial circumstances
  • Managing client accounts and ensuring they receive the highest level of customer service
  • Following the correct procedure should complaints be made
  • Sending and managing DWP applications

What We're Looking For

  • At least two years experience in a customer focused role, with at least one year working in collections preferred
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs
  • Exemplary attention to detail, especially whilst taking accurate notes during calls
  • The ability to work under pressure and take initiative where necessary
  • Experience of using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
